Tomás Vega and Corten Singer awarded the Lemelson-MIT prize for work done in the CITIRS Invention Lab!  Their project, WheelSense is an Open-Source Smart Add-On System for Wheelchairs.  The work was developed, prototyped, and fabricated in the CITRIS Invention Lab.  Both are superusers in the lab and Tomás is also part of Professor Paulos’ Hybrid Ecologies Lab.  Congrats to both Tomás and Corten.
